Freediving Tasmania: 24-26th February 2017

We’re coming back! Freediving Tasmania in February including a PADI Freediver course and fun dives for certified freedivers.

By far one of the best discoveries we’ve made is the freediving experience on the other side of Bass Strait.

Isn’t it Cold?

Freediving course HobartThe first reaction from most people is one of “oooh, isn’t it freezing in the water?”. The thing is it’s only around 1-2c cooler than the water temperature in Victoria. And when your eyeballs feast on the underwater beauty, well, the cold comes a very distant second in your thoughts.

More recently Tassie’s colourful marine life has been getting showcased in the media, this ABC example being a strong one. Before the cat gets out of the proverbial bag, I’d be hot-footing your way into the water to relish its pristine state.

What’s Planned?
